I'm excited to begin my 2nd year at Black Diamond High School and my 35th year as a school counselor in PUSD. 

 

I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Religion from St. Olaf College and my Master of Science degree in Counseling and Mental Health and PPS credential from Cal State Hayward (now called Cal State East Bay).  I also received my Multiple Subject teaching credential from St. Mary's College of California.  I have earned the following specialist certificates from the American School Counselor Association:   Career Development Specialist,  School Counseling Leadership Specialist,  Bullying Prevention Specialist, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Specialist.  In addition to my work at Black Diamond, I work as an adjunct professor for Concordia University Irvine where I teach future school counselors.

 

I live in Pittsburg with my husband and two dogs and love to go camping in our fifth wheel.
