Graduation Requirements
Black Diamond High is the alternative high school for the Pittsburg Unified School District. It serves students who are 16 to 18 years of age and who are behind in credits. The program delivers a standards-based education, using the same instructional materials as are used at Pittsburg High School. However, small class size (no more than 20 students per class)

- World History (10 credits)
- US History (10 credits)
- Economics (5 credits)
- Government (5 credits)
- Art (10 credits)
- Physical Education (20 credits)
- Physical Science (10 credits)
- Biological Science (10 credits)
- Electives (80 credits)
- Mathematics (20 credits)
- Community Service: (35 hours)
- Earn 220 credits by completing course requirements
